The work of the Swiss Society of Senology (SGS) focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases. Adjumed and the SGS have been linked in many ways for a long time. Its long-standing president and current honorary member, Prof. Dr. Christoph Rageth, was also the founder of Adjumed Services GmbH (the predecessor of today’s Adjumed Services AG). To prevent conflicts of interest, he withdrew from Adjumed Services AG when he became president of the Society for Senology.

The MIBB working group, from which the MIBB database emerged, was founded as a working group of the Society of Senology. Together with the Cancer League, the SGS developed a quality certificate for breast centers, which is managed in the SBCDB.
