The quality registers of the Swiss Society of Urology (SWISS UROLOGY) aim to document the three important intervention groups prostatectomy, cystectomy and nephrectomy and to anonymously compare the treatment quality in the peer group. The nationwide recording of quality parameters of both individual SGU members and training institutions makes it possible to measure the quality of treatment throughout Switzerland.

Several PROMs (Patient Reported Outcome Measures) are available preoperatively and postoperatively for the prostatectomy and cystectomy registers. This enables the doctor treated to measure the well-being of the patients during the course of the disease and treatment.
