Adjustments to the forms and the transfer files are usually made once a year. If a year is missing from the listing, no adjustments have been made during that period.

What is the deadline for data import of STR or DGU cases into the trauma registry https://intern.dgu-traumanetz.de/?

The deadline for both STR and DGU cases is 00:00 on March 31 of each year. By this date, the previous year’s cases must be fully recorded and imported into the DGU portal.

Where do I need to upload my STR or DGU cases?
Please upload your cases to https://intern.dgu-traumanetz.de/.

The following changes were made to the 2023 STR Questionnaire at the turn of the year:

1. The STR field [1552 2595] “First surgical intervention” has been replaced with the following DGU fields:

  • [2393 3052] Emergency surgical intervention

2. STR field [1501 2553] “Anticoagulant medications administered” has been replaced with DGU field [8222 8981] “Anticoagulant medications administered”

4. The following fields became optional:

On behalf of the STR registry management, a number of optional DGU fields were included as part of an alignment of the STR questionnaire with the DGU.

The following changes were made to the 2022 STR and DGU questionnaire in 2021/22

.

The field [2591] “Glasgow Outcome Scale (GOS)” has been renamed “Condition at discharge/transfer.” The previous codes 1 (death) to code 5 (minor neurological and psychological deficits) were hidden. Instead, the following codes were introduced, analogous to the DGU:

  • 6 “well recovered”
  • 7 “moderately disabled”
  • 8 “severely disabled”
  • 9 “unresponsive”
  • 10 “not specified”

The field has also been given a help button, with the explanations from the DGU questionnaire:

  • well recovered: good recovery.
  • moderately disabled: Moderately disabled (disabled but independent).
  • severely disabled: Severely disabled (conscious, but disabled and dependent on assistance).
  • unresponsive: persistent vegetative state.

 

Les modifications suivantes ont été apportées au questionnaire STR et DGU 2022 en 2021/22.

The following changes were made to the 2021 STR and DGU questionnaire in 2020/21 (originally 2020)

  1. The field [6771] “First surgical intervention” under the heading “Other treatment parameters (shock room without surgical phase)” has been removed.
  2. The field [6778] “First surgical intervention” under the heading “Other treatment parameters (surgical phase)” has been removed.
  3. The [2649] “Catecholamines” field and the [2665] “Catecholamines” field were removed from the 2021 STR questionnaire.
  4. The field [365] “Gender” is expanded to include the code 3 “diverse”. Affects the DGU and STR questionnaire.

The [45] “ICD” field in the STR questionnaire is currently still being converted to the new ICD code (see https://www.bfs.admin.ch/bfs/de/home/statistiken/gesundheit/nomenklaturen/medkk/instrumente-medizinische-kodierung.html).

The questionnaire has already been posted to all participating hospitals and can be viewed in Adjumed via the 2021 selection. Please forward this information to your hospital IT if you have an interface with Adjumed.
