The FMCh is the umbrella organization of 20 invasive and acute care professional societies in Switzerland. Prof. Urban Laffer, MD, its longtime president, was a founding member of the AQC. Thus, the FMCH and the AQC have been closely associated since its foundation in 2004 and have initiated many joint projects. The former secretary general of FMCH, Dr. Markus Trutmann, moderates the discussion panels at each of the annual AQC meetings and is a member of the AQC Scientific Board.

The collaboration with fmCh has resulted in particular in AdjumedValidate (formerly FMCH PublicDatabase), the T-Certificate, and the OPcheck project.
